disabled — the EventsPlugin is registered but the application did not
pass the diagnostics option: no collector exists and nothing is
observed. This is the owning plugin's answer, distinct from
unsupported. no-data — observation is active and no approved alias
has been observed yet. ready — at least one retained record is fresh.
stale — records exist but every one is older than the 30-second stale
threshold (records are dropped at the 60-second retention window).
collection-failed — either the source latched it itself (its monotonic
clock or bookkeeping failed; capture stops until the source is recreated)
or the connector substituted it for a source that threw or answered a
shape that failed validation.
