What the queue framework observed about settling one attempt (M98f),
reported only AFTER the adapter's settlement call returned.
acknowledged, requeued and dead-lettered mean the matching settlement
call completed against an adapter that confirms its settlement calls.
failed means the settlement call rejected. unknown means the call
completed but the adapter cannot confirm the backend applied it — RabbitMQ's
channel operations are unconfirmed, and SQS absorbs a lapsed claim or a
failed dead-letter send without rejecting — so a completed call there is
never presented as settlement proof.
