    An immutable, bounded snapshot of one source's event observations (M98j).

    The snapshot is deeply frozen; records carries at most one record per (alias, operation) tuple the approved map produced, within the fixed 64 per-source slots. dropped counts tuples ignored at capacity (saturating). The exact UTF-8 byte length of the compact JSON.stringify of this object is bounded by the connector's response budget.
